{"id":410556,"date":"2024-07-11T10:01:37","date_gmt":"2024-07-11T16:01:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/billieparkernoticias.com\/?p=410556"},"modified":"2024-07-11T10:01:37","modified_gmt":"2024-07-11T16:01:37","slug":"ximena-melgar-desarrollo-anticuerpos-sintetico-contra-veneno-de-serpiente","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fronteraveracruz.com\/?p=410556","title":{"rendered":"Ximena Melgar desarroll\u00f3 anticuerpos sint\u00e9tico contra veneno de Serpiente."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>*<\/p>\n<p>11.07.2024.Dinarmarca- Ximena Melgar, estudiante de Ingenier\u00eda del Tec de Monterrey campus Toluca, desarroll\u00f3 anticuerpos contra el veneno de serpiente mientras realizaba su estancia internacional en el Center for Antibody Technologies (CAT) ubicado en la Universidad T\u00e9cnica de Dinamarca.<\/p>\n<p>La estudiante de Bioingenieria comparti\u00f3 que el objetivo del proyecto era desarrollar venenos de forma sint\u00e9tica para neutralizar una familia considerable de serpientes y conseguir anticuerpos f\u00e1ciles de producir, sin efectos secundarios y con producci\u00f3n de bajo costo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLo que hice fue producir una toxina de serpiente sint\u00e9tica debido a que los tratamientos actuales para producir antivenenos b\u00e1sicamente consisten en extraer veneno directo de una serpiente, inyect\u00e1rselo a un animal, extraer la sangre y luego purificar los anticuerpos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl problema es que el animal tarda mucho tiempo en producir anticuerpos y estos no solo son contra la serpiente, sino que son todos los anticuerpos que ha desarrollado a lo largo de toda su vida, lo que causa reacciones al\u00e9rgicas o efectos secundarios\u201d, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p> Asimismo, Ximena coment\u00f3 que ese antiveneno ser\u00eda muy espec\u00edfico para la serpiente a la que se le extrajo el veneno y puede que no funcione con otras, aunque sean de la misma familia.<\/p>\n<p>El trabajo de la estudiante consisti\u00f3 en modificar gen\u00e9ticamente una levadura y una bacteria para producir la toxina sint\u00e9tica de serpiente.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez conseguida, neutraliz\u00f3 dicha toxina mediante inhibidores y termin\u00f3 con su caracterizaci\u00f3n al hacer an\u00e1lisis de formaci\u00f3n y toxicidad.<\/p>\n<p>Para cumplir con el proyecto, Ximena aplic\u00f3 los conocimientos te\u00f3ricos y pr\u00e1cticos que Tec le ha brindado al haber participado en anteriores proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n y lograr as\u00ed desarrollar la experiencia que requer\u00eda en el laboratorio.<\/p>\n<p>A partir de lo aprendido en su estancia, Ximena desea generar un impacto al aportar a la salud de las personas y crear un mundo m\u00e1s sustentable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn este proyecto pude contribuir a un problema muy grande al que no se le da mucha importancia en pa\u00edses en desarrollo, y creo que en ese aspecto empec\u00e9 a aportar algo por lo menos\u201d, comparti\u00f3 Ximena.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, Ximena espera empezar su maestr\u00eda en la misma universidad en donde desarrollo su proyecto y regresar a desarrollar mayores avances del mismo.<\/p>\n<p> Fuente :Conecta de Tec de Monterrey<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>* 11.07.2024.Dinarmarca- Ximena Melgar, estudiante de Ingenier\u00eda del Tec de Monterrey campus Toluca, desarroll\u00f3 anticuerpos contra el veneno de serpiente mientras realizaba su estancia internacional en el Center for Antibody Technologies (CAT) ubicado en la Universidad T\u00e9cnica de Dinamarca.
